How the Xiom system works
in a nutshell
The Xiom system is very
simple to use and understand. The key
elements are:
The gun - has an on/off
trigger that starts and stops the flow
of powder.
The console - allows the
user the ability to fine-tune the flow
of powder or the size of the flame while
the system is running.
The canister - 'fluidizes'the
powder coatings.
Setting up the Xiom
system
1. The three elements to
the Xiom system are connected together
by a few small lines which takes under 5
minutes.
2. The console is
connected to a compressed air line, an
oxygen tank (of any size, can be liquid
or gas form), and to a propane tank
(regular BBQ tank will suffice).
Connectors, hoses, and regulators are
included with the Xiom system. If you
have a lot of humidity in your area, you
will want to consider having an air
dryer system in place.
3. That's it! You can
use our mobile XIOM cart or mount the
console to a wall easily, all it takes
is five minutes, a drill, and a few
bolts!

Changing coatings
To change over to a
different Xiom coating takes less than
five minutes.
1. Empty the existing
powder from the canister and blow out
the canister with air to remove any
powder that may cling to the edges.
2. Blow out the powder
feed tube that leads from the canister
to the gun if necessary.
3. Pour the new powder
you're using into the canister and close
it up. You're ready to go again!
Easy clean up of over
spray
If you accidentally miss
the surface that you're intending to
coat while moving around with the gun,
it’s easy to clean-up! If the coating
doesn't hit a surface within a few
inches after it leaves the gun, it will
solidify again in a powdered form in
midair and land on the table or bench
that you are coating on top of.
